Agriculture knowledge center without chief for one and half months



LAMJUNG: The Agriculture Knowledge Centre, Lamjung is without its chief for the last one and half months.

The Centre is without the chief after Chief Rohini Raj Ghimire’s retirement from service on July 27.

The service seekers, as well as the employees at the Centre, have been facing inconvenience due to this. Centre’s Agriculture Extension Officer Buddhi Bahadur Baniya said they have informed the concerned government body about this and they don’t yet know when the next Chief will arrive.

Information Officer and economist Madan Regmi have also gone to Kathmandu for attending training since August 24.

Regmi is said to be on a two-month-long training and hence cannot attend office.

The farmers are annoyed as they cannot avail of various services provided by the Centre due to the absence of the Chief.
