Nepal records 3,938 new COVID-19 cases, 37 deaths in last 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,938 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,007 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 931 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 766 persons in Kathmandu, 163 in Lalitpur, and 146 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 1,075 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 37 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,012 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
