Woman files police complaint against UML leader Sah

KATHMANDU: A woman has filed a complaint against UML leader and former minister Prabhu Sah at Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor, Monday.

Deepa Kunwar of Bansbari lodged the complaint stating Sah had not returned the money he had taken from her to send her abroad.

According to Baneshwor DSP Mim Bahadur Lama, as per the complaint Sha has yet to return Rs 2 million of the total Rs 3 million taken from Kunwar.

“Normally in such cases we call both parties to the table for discussion. But, since the accused here is a VIP, the police has not called former minister Sah for the same. We are investigating the matter.”

A police official said, “There are grounds to confirm the payment.”
