NA member Rayamajhi stages symbolic protest against HoR dissolution in NA session

KATHMANDU: NA member Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi of Nepali Congress has symbolically protested Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s move of dissolving the House of Representatives (HoR) by donning black-colored clothes and cap to the Upper House Monday.

Addressing the NA Monday, he explained that millions of people should have hit the streets waving black flags against HoR dissolution but it was not possible due to the coronavirus pandemic. “Nevertheless this attire is what I have taken to protest the move as waving a black flag in the House is not possible,” he said.

After that, he took to wave his cap as if it were a black flag in the NA session Monday.
