Petrol price hiked by Rs 2 per liter



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and domestic aviation fuel by Rs two per liter with effect from Saturday midnight.

The retail price of petrol in Kathmandu will be Rs 125 per liter after the price hike. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 108, and domestic aviation fuel will be Rs 80 per liter from tonight.

However, prices of aviation fuel for international flights and LPG remained unchanged, the corporation said.

The corporation adjusts the price on the 1st and 16th of the English month. The corporation has stated that the price of petrol has been increased as per the purchase price list received from Indian Oil Corporation on June 1.
