Schools to open in Birgunj from June 15



BIRGUNJ: Birgunj Metropolitan City has decided to gradually open schools with the physical presence of students from June 15.

According to the decision of the Metropolis, the classes will run from grade 8 to 12 starting June 15 keeping in mind the educational loss of the students.

Chief of Educational Administration Division Arbinda Lal Karna said he has sent a letter to all the community and institutionalized schools urging them to operate schools from June 15.

The permission has been given to the schools on the condition that they have to take a written permission from respective guardians, adopt health protocols (mask, soap, arrangement of hand-wash, sanitizers, physical distancing, and taking temperature by thermal gun).

Similarly, vehicles are forbidden to carry students until further notice and an alternative means of teaching should be determined based on the agreement between the school management committee and the guardians, among others.
