Four held with brown heroin



DHANGADHI: Police have arrested four people with banned drugs in Kanchanpur district.

Acting on a tip-off that the illegal trade of narcotics was taking place, a police squad rounded up two persons from Bhimdatta municipality-1, Bhansi and two others from Belauri municipality-7, Kalopool, informed DSP Amabar Bahadur Thapa of Bhimdatta municipality-1.

The arrested are Shyam Pal, 21, and Surendra Pal of Bedkot municipality-1. Police seized 5.05 gram brown heroin from their possession, according to police.

Similarly, police arrested 27-year-old Amlesh Kumar Sah and Khadka Raj Awasthi, 26, of Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan City-8 with 0.750 gram brown heroin.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking them under control.
