LUMBINI: State Assembly member of Lumbini Province Amar Bahadur Dangi Chhetri has resigned.

Dangi, who was directly elected from Dang 2 (B), submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly on Wednesday.

In his resignation letter, Dangi, who abstained from the meeting of the UML parliamentary party, expressed his dissatisfaction with Prime Minister KP Oli and the state government’s performance.

Dangi has expressed his commitment to support the communist movement.
