DANG: A person died when a Scorpio jeep met with an accident in Dang district Wednesday morning.
Jeep driver, Bishnu Giri, 33, of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan-13 died on the spot, according to Mukunda Prasad Rijal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dang district.
Two passengers have been seriously injured in the accident, police said.
The injured have been identified as Raj Kumar Thapa, 35, of Ghorahi-17 and Basanta Bhandari, 23, of Tulsipur-16.
They are undergoing treatment at the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences in Ghorahi.
The Scorpio — Ba 13 Cha 8048 — heading towards Ghorahi of Dang from Rolpa’s Liwang met with an accident at the Ghorahi-Kamerechaur road section at around 7 am this morning.
