Govt to conduct antigen test of suspected people at Kathmandu’s entry points



KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to conduct antigen tests of the suspected citizens entering the Kathmandu Valley.

A meeting of the Kathmandu District Crisis Management Committee on Monday decided to test the antigen of the suspects entering Kathmandu.

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Kali Prasad Parajuli, informed that the concerned local levels have been instructed to set up health desks at the checkpoints and conduct antigen testing of the suspects.

All local levels have also been asked to manage quarantine and isolation centers.

But no date has been set for starting antigen testing at the entry points. Chief District Officer Parajuli said that the local levels would coordinate and implement it.
