Over 884 households to be affected by Seti Hydro Project



DOTI: At least 884 households will be affected by Seti Hydroelectricity Project to be constructed at Bogtan Phudsil Rural Municipality.

This information was given out in a press meet organized by the Ministry of Energy and Irrigation, Electricity Development Department in Phudsil.

The estimated cost for the 308-megawatt-project is 91 billion rupees.

According to environment consultant Dr Jyoti Prasad Gajurel, the project will mostly affect Bogatan of Doti district where 656 households would be affected.

Similarly, 228 households would be affected by the project in Achham district. The height of the project dam would be of 400 meters. RSS
