Govt marching towards dictatorship worse than during Panchayat: Rawal

KATHMANDU: Commenting on the Home Minister’s threatening remarks that the ones taking the street against the government will end in the Central Zoo, Nepal Communist Party Prachanda-Nepal faction’s influential leader Dr. Bhim Rawal has remarked that the government is heading towards dictatorship worse than the Panchayat System.

In a tweet after the Home Minister’s speech at the NCP Oli faction’s Kathmandu’s gathering, Rawal commented that the Home Minister’s remark reflects Prime Minister KP Oli’s day-dream of becoming a dictator worse than the ones the country witnessed during the Panchayat days.

“The Home Minister’s speech warning to cage those in the street against the unconstitutional move of PM Oli in the Jawalakhel-based Central Zoo confirms that PM Oli is dreaming of becoming a dictator before the autocratic Panchayat rule,” the Standing Committee Member of Prachanda-Nepal faction of NCP, Dr. Rawal has tweeted affirming, “Yet, let it be clear that the autocracy falls.”
