NCP Oli faction’s mass demonstration begins



KATHMANDU: The mass demonstration organized by Prime Minister Oli faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has started at the rallying point in front of Narayanhiti Palace Museum.

Rallies had begun from 16 different points of the capital including Bag Bazaar, Exhibition Road, Ghantaghar, Nepal Airlines, Tripureshwor, Gaushala, Maitighar, Putali Sadak, Lainchaur, Sohrakhutte, Teku, Basantapur, New Road, Gyaneshwor, Old Baneshwor before converging into the mass assembly.

Leaders including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa alias ‘Badal’ and Satya Narayan Mandal will address the mass assembly, informed Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa.

Participating cadres shouted slogans including ‘Long Live KP Oli’ in favor of Prime Minister Oli upon his arrival at the rallying point.

Leaders and cadres of all 13 districts of Bagmati Pradesh including the Kathmandu Valley are participating in the mass demonstration.
