KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung has directed the advertisement board to work effectively.
At the fourth plenary meeting of the Board held at Singha Durbar today, he urged the board office-bearers to utilize the advertisement funds.
He also alerted them of coming up with a strategic plan following necessary discussion with the experts.
“There should be no further delay in making the work of the advertisement board effective, hence the strategic plan should be immediately developed in consultation with experts and stakeholders,” he said.
The CIT minister also urged the board officials to come up with an action plan within mid January. Meanwhile, the board decided to develop a national advertisement policy.
The advertisement board was constituted after Minister Gurung joined office with the objective of managing government and public advertisements. RSS
