KATHMANDU: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) party Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the Supreme Court (SC) should be asked to restore the House of Representatives.
“It is high time that all political parties and civil society members came together to demand restoration of the House,” he said at a program in the capital on Tuesday, alleging Prime Minister KP Oli for making an unconstitutional and undemocratic move by dissolving the House.
“This cannot be done,” he said adding that the unconstitutional move was taken jointly by the President and the Prime Minister.
“People and the political parties have still hopes that the House would be restored,” Poudel stated.
