18-year-old dies of COVID-19 in BPKIHS



KATHMANDU: An 18-year-old youth has died at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan of Sunsari district.

A youth from Triyuga Municipality-11 of Udayapur died of coronavirus, according to the information center of the Hospital.

He was confirmed to have coronavirus infection on December 26. On the same day, he was admitted to COVID-19 Hospital.

The young man, who did not have any chronic illness, died at 7.30 am on Tuesday while undergoing treatment, the hospital said.
