Eighth Mountain Sports Festival from March 4



KATHMANDU: The Eighth Mountain Sports Festival is being held by the first week of March. Organizing a press meet on Monday, the federation of Mountain Sports Festival said the festival will start from March 4.

To be held in Gandaki Pradesh, 15 various tournaments will be held in the festival, according to the federation. The sports include archery, cannoning, rock climbing, cycling, paragliding, cross-country running, motor sports, tug of war, wrestling, horse riding, triathlon, gulf, skateboarding among others.

A17-member Mountain Sports Festival Management Committee comprising the representatives of the sports association has been formed to effectively run the festival.
