NC to hold convention of 16 districts after general convention



KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to hold the convention of 16 districts after the general convention.

Issuing a press statement, the Central Election Committee informed that the convention would be postponed in the remaining districts.

As of December 1, the convention had been completed in 61 districts.

The conventions have not been held in eight districts of Province 2.

Similarly, district conventions have not been held in Kailali, Banke, Achham, Nawalparasi East, Sindhupalchowk, Makwanpur, Chitwan and Sindhuli districts.
