NC leader Tumyahang elected Taplejung District President



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Gajendra Prasad Tumyahang has been elected as Taplejung District President under the 14th General Convention of the party.

In the vote count results held on Monday morning, Tumyahang won the elections by receiving 588 votes against 430 votes obtained by his closest rival Chhabi Lal Gurung.

Similarly, Ganesh Bahadur Limbu and Dilli Raman Baral achieved 533 and 528 votes respectively to become vice presidents.

Likewise, Dambar Hangam and Nanda Kumar Ojha have received 589 and 442 votes respectively to become secretaries.

Tej Kumar Sunuwar and Nanda Kumar Angbohang have got 638 and 494 votes respectively to become deputy secretaries.
