KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Sri Lanka in a football tournament under the 13th edition of SAFF Championship underway in Maldives today.
The match will start at the national football stadium in the capital city Male at 9:45 pm (according to Nepali time).
The Nepali team is in high spirit about winning the SAFF title this time after it defeated host team Maldives 1-0 in the first match, shared football coach Abdullah Al Mutairi.
Earlier, Nepal had beaten Sri Lanka 3-2 in the fourth edition of the SAFF Championship held in the Indian State of Goa.
Bangladesh and India are locking horns in the first match today. Nepal will play a match with India on October 10.
