Nepal records 4,107 new COVID-19 cases, 35 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 1,279 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 4,107 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,975 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 1,132 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 908 persons in Kathmandu, 165 in Lalitpur, and 206 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 1,279 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 35 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,535 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
