UML Chair Oli alone is not responsible for HoR dissolution: Narayan Kaji Shrestha

Says India should apologize in Darchula incident

KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the then Prime Minister KP Oli was not the only person responsible for the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Speaking at a special session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, leader Shrestha held the previous governments as well as the political leaders for being responsible for the House dissolution in one way or the other.

“He (KP Oli alone) was not the only one responsible for the current state of affairs in this country,” he said, adding, “All political parties, leaders, even those who have run the government in different ways before, were responsible in one way or another, to one extent or another.”

Commenting on the Darchula ‘tuin’ incident, Maoist Center spokesperson Shrestha said that India should apologize for the inhuman behavior shown by the Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) in Darchula.
