KATHMANDU: The government is making preparations to reappoint Kulman Ghising as the Managing Director (MD) of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday directed Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal to initiate the process to this effect.
Currently, Hitendra Dev Shakya is the Managing Director of the NEA. Minister Bhusal had briefed Prime Minister Deuba saying that incumbent Shakya’s performance is not satisfactory.
Bhusal, then, had called Shakya to Baluwatar and urged him to assist the government by tendering his resignation.
