795 people in ICUs and on ventilators across country

KATHMANDU: The number of people being treated in ICUs and ventilators across the country has increased amidst the second wave of corona infections in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 795 infected are currently being treated in ventilators and ICUs across the country.

According to the latest data, there are 179 people on ventilator support and 616 in ICUs across the country.

There are currently 93 persons in ICUs and 18 on ventilators in Province 1.

Similarly, 24 and 2 people are on ventilators and in ICUs respectively in Province 2.

Similarly, 325 people are being treated in ICU and 124 in ventilator in Bagmati Province.

As many as 44 patients are being treated in ICUs and 2 on ventilators in Gandaki, 69 in ICU and 16 on ventilators in Lumbini and 32 people in ICUs, and seven on ventilators in Karnali.

Similarly, 29 people are being treated in ICUs and 10 in ventilators in Sudurpaschim.
