Chitwan records two new deaths linked with COVID-19

BHARATPUR: Two more people infected with COVID-19 have died at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district.

The deceased are a 69-year-old man from Madi municipality-3 and a man from Bara district.

According to the hospital, the sexagenarian who tested for COVID-19 on May 2 died while undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital on Monday night.

The elderly was also suffering from pneumonia and shortness of breath.

Similarly, a 38-year-old man of Simara Sub Metropolitan City-1, has passed away from COVID-19 at the hospital.

The man who was admitted to the hospital on April 25 after he complained of chest pain tested positive for COVID-19 the following day.
