Prohibitory order in Nawalparasi East from today midnight



KATHMANDU: A prohibitory order has been imposed in Nawalparasi East effective from Tuesday midnight.

The order will remain effective from today midnight until May 18 midnight.

Public and private vehicles except those transporting food-stuffs, drinking water, essential goods, health workers, security personnel and ailing people will be banned during the period, according to a press note issued by Chief District Officer Manmaya Bhattarai Pangeni.

Similarly, All the shops will remain closed except for vegetables, dairy, medical shops during the period.

The prohibitory order has been clamped in Nawalparasi district after the COVID-19 cases spiked, of late.
