COVID-19: India records new 355,828 infections, 3,438 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 355,828 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 20,275,543.

Currently, 3,452,457 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 16,600,703 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 222,300-mark.

With 3,438 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 222,383, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.
