NCP Sarlahi incharge Dacha Raj Wagle dies in road mishap



KATHMANDU: Sarlahi incharge of Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dacha Raj Wagle has died in a road accident.

Wagle’s body was found along with his badly damaged motorcycle at Barhathawa road in Sarlahi at 9 pm yesterday, said District Police Office (DPO), Sarlahi.

According to Area Police Office, Barhathawa, the accident may have taken place due to over speed.

He was returning home after participating in a torch rally organized by the Prachanda-Nepal faction at Barhathawa on Wednesday evening.

DSP Uddhav Singh Bhat said an investigation into the case is underway.

Meanwhile, NCP Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha expressed condolence to the family members of the deceased, terming  Wagle’s death ‘mysterious’.
