Capable leadership could establish socialism: Minister Thapa



CHITWAN: Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the appropriate policy, program and capable leadership could establish socialism in the country.

Addressing the cadres gathering organized by Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Chitwan, here on Monday, Home Minister Thapa shared, “We are in the phase of establishing socialism. So appropriate policy and leadership in necessary.”

He opined, “We have gathered here to give an answer regarding the appropriate leadership”, adding policy and leadership is necessary for every change.

Similarly, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Shankar Pokharel, said that the act of going amongst the people is not a dictatorship in a democracy. “How the man moving ahead with new plans of development construction facing Indian blockade is against good governance?”

CM Pokharel argued that the leader devoting himself to social development and infrastructure development by controlling impunity in the country could not be against good governance.

Various leaders including Kashinath Adhikari, Ananda Pokharel, welcomed the move of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and urged the cadres to start preparing for an election.
