Five including ex-Minister of State injured in car mishap



BARDIYA: Five people, including former Minister of State Binod Kumar Shah, have been injured in a road accident in Bardiya district.

The vehicle, Ba 21 Cha 4746, carrying former Minister Shah met with an accident between Bansgadhi Municipality-1, Maurikhola, and Untiskhola of Bardiya on Monday afternoon.

Shah and his wife Laxmi Shah, Surya Bahadur Shahi of Bindrasaini Municipality-2 in Dailekh, Padam Majhi of Aathbish Municipality-28, and driver Vinay Bhandari were injured in the accident, according to police.

According to the police, the injured are out of danger. The jeep fell 60 meters down the road, police said.
