NEPSE index down by 6.36 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by six 6.36 points on Monday to close at 2,169.04 points.

The NEPSE index had increased by 88 points on the first trading day of the week on Sunday.

Likewise, the Sensitive Index fell by 0.73 points and reached 415.15 points.

A total of 1.6 million shares were traded resulting in a turnover of Rs 5.96 billion.

Share of five sub-indices out of 12 improved today, while the shares of all other sub-indices declined. Sub-indices development bank, hydropower, finance, nonlife insurance, and others witnessed an increase today.
