Kathmandu Valley records 185 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 185 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 140 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 24 in Bhaktapur, and 21 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 403 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 262,262 in the country as of Monday afternoon

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 5,289 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 594 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 255,088 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, seven persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,885.
