BAITADI: A person has died and two others sustained injuries in a tractor accident in Baitadi district at the wee hours on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Jit Bahadur Bohara of Bitthadchir rulral municipality, Bajhang.
The accident took place when an on-test tractor heading to Bajhang from Dhangadhi met with an accident at Sigas rural municipality-9 in Baitadi district at 2 am today.
Tractor driver Narendra Mahara, 32, and Krishna Bohara of Bitthadchir rulral municipality-4 have sustained injuries in the accident, said District Police Office, Baitadi. Driver Mahara has got his both legs fractured.
The both injured have been taken to Dadeldhura Hospital for treatment, said DPO, Baitadi.
