Bagmati Province Assembly session summoned on January 7



HETAUDA: The seventh session of the Bagmati Province Assembly has been summoned for January 20.

The Province Chief Bishnu Prasad Prasain on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Province called the house session at 3:00 PM on January 20.

According to Province Secretariat Chief Secretary Krishna Hari Khadka, the Province Chief summoned the House meeting in accordance to the Article 183 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

There are 80 lawmakers representing from Nepal Communist Party (NCP), 22 from Nepali Congress, two from Nepal Peasants and Workers Party, three from Bibeksheeel Sajha Party, two from Rastriya Prajatantra Party and one independent member in the Province Assembly.

The Province Assembly altogether has 110 members.
