Balayar and Mishra register candidacies vying for NC’s Far Western Province President



KAILALI: Contesting to establish their leadership in the province and at the party center, Nepali Congress (NC) leaders Bir Bahadur Balayar and Narayan Dutt Mishra have registered their candidacies for the post of NC Far Western Province President.

According to NC sources, Balayar and Mishra, along with their panels, nominated their candidacies for the post at Om Party Palace in Dhangadhi after 3 pm on Friday.

Kanchanpur district president Padam Bagati and Doti district president Narendra Singh have supported leader Balayar.

Similarly, Mishra has entertained the support of Baitadi district president Chur Bahadur Chand and Darchula president Lalit Jung Bohora. Balayar is close to Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba group, while Mishra has the support of senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel faction.
