Nepal sees 246 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 246 new cases of coronavirus while 347 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 223 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 23 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 55 cases in Kathmandu, 9 in Bhaktapur and 29 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the Valley to 93 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there has been no coronavirus related death in 24 hours. The coronavirus related death is 11,535 till date.
