KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 33-year-old Sushil Sharma of Naikap on the charge of murdering a septuagenarian.
Harka Bahadur Baniya of Kavre had been found murdered at Bafal in the capital October 24.
Metropolitan Police Crime Division (MPCD), Kathmandu had launched an investigation into the case and arrested Sharma for slaying Baniya.
Sharma has admitted to have murdered Baniya and set his body on fire to destroy evidence.
He killed Baniya in the course of robbing him of his money. Baniya used to beg for livelihood around Bafal area.
