Maoist Center steps up preparations for gen convention



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) has stepped up preparations to hold party’s general conventions.

It is holding its general convention in the Kathmandu Valley on December 26 to 28, informed Spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

According to Mahara, the number of party membership has crossed 700,000.

The Maoist Center has already conducted ward and village/municipal conventions except in a few places.

The village/municipal conventions will be completed in the remaining places within a few days, said Mahara.
