NC leader Gagan Thapa labels KP Oli a “losing gambler”

Says UML Chair Oli should have been ashamed for the fall of six UML govts

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader and lawmaker Gagan Thapa has described CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli as a “losing gambler” who never stops boasting despite losing everything in gambling.

Addressing a program organized by the Nepali Congress at Suryabinayak Municipality-7, Gundu, Bhaktapur, NC leader Thapa remarked that despite losing the control in six governments in the country, UML Chair Oli, like a losing gambler, has been walking proudly rather than feeling ashamed.

“KP Oli’s party had their own government in six of the seven provinces. He was leading a two-third majority government at the federal level, however, the person, who could not manage an overwhelming majority government, is claiming to dethrone others’ government,” Thapa said.

He added, “It is like a gambler who despite losing everything in the game, rather than realizing he is a loser, seeks to borrow money from a fellow gambler.”

In a different context, he said that he pitied on UML Vice Chairman Bhim Rawal for the latter’s feeble voice in the party.

NC leader Thapa also said that UML was no more a living party as it is full of sycophants of Oli.
