UML forms 15-member Election Commission under leadership of Dr. Bijay Subba



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has announced party’s Central Election Commission under the leadership of Dr. Bijay Subba for the party’s upcoming general convention.

Chairman KP Oli proposed a 15-member commission at the first Statute General Convention held in Godavari, Lalitpur. Chair Oli’s proposal was unanimously approved by the congregation.

The members of the commission are Mahesh Nepal, Sanuraja Pokhrel, Baburam Dahal, Kunsang Lama, Rita Simkhada, Ranju Thakur, Bharat Pokhrel, Tanka Upreti, Sumitra BC and Pabitra Niraula.

Similarly, Kewalal Chaudhary from Sudurpaschim, Bimala Bishwakarma from Lumbini, Lok Bahadur Thapa from Gandaki and Himakala Gaire from Bagmati are members of the commission.
