Former NA member Agrawal passes away at 88



KATHMANDU: Former member of the National Assembly Bishwonath Agrawal has passed away on Saturday night. He was 88.

He was suffering from many diseases, said the family members. Agrawal, also a Nepali Congress leader, had played a key role in establishing democracy in the country.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress central member Ramesh Rijal paid condolence to Agrawal and the bereaved family. Rijal draped the NC flag over the deceased at Kalaiya in Bara district where his mortal remains were kept for offering condolence.

People from various walks of life and NC leaders and cadres gathered there and paid their last respect to deceased Agrawal.
