Effigies of Province 2 CM Raut and Pak PM’s effigy burnt in Bara

BARA: The National Unity Campaign (NUC) has staged a protest in Kalaiya, Bara against the Chief Minister of State 2, Lal Babu Raut, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

The campaign also burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Raut and Pakistani Prime Minister Khan in protest of the Madrasa Education Bill.

Central Chairman of the campaign Binay Yadav has accused Chief Minister Raut of trying to turn Province 2 into a Taliban state at the behest of Pakistan and demanded his immediate resignation.

He said, “Lately, Chief Minister Raut has tried to turn the province into a Taliban state by bringing in the Madrasa Education Bill. There is no justification for keeping such a corrupt Chief Minister in office.”

Likewise, other speakers accused the government of pushing Province 2 towards Taliban culture by introducing the Madrasa Education Bill in Nepal at a time when madrassas are being banned in most countries of the world.
