KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecast Division has predicted a possibility of heavy rainfall in a few places in Province 1 and Province 2 on Sunday.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places across the country on Sunday and Monday, according to the Division.
Similarly, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is also expected in some places on Tuesday.
According to the Weather Forecast Division, Province 1, Province 2 and Bagmati Province will witness cloudy weather with equal possibilities of rainfall in the evening.
The Division has urged people to be vigilant as the water level in rivers and streams may rise along with the risk of soil erosion, landslides and drift in the hilly areas of these places.
