Two arrested with drugs from Nepal-India border in Sarlahi



KATHMANDU: Two Indian nationals have been arrested with illegal drugs from the Nepal-India border in Sarlahi Friday.

A team of the Armed Police Force deployed at the border arrested two Indian nationals with the illicit drug Twinrix. The arrested are identified as Neta Sharma, 32, and Surendra Sharma, 63, of Sitamani district in India. Police recovered 94 bottles of 100 ml drug Twinrix from them.

According to Armed Police Force SP Gangaram Shrestha, they were arrested while they were coming to Nepal by hiding drugs inside a gas cylinder.

SP Shrestha said they were handed over to the District Police Office for further investigation.
