Maoist Center calls SC meeting this afternoon

To finalize list of ministers to participate in govt

KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-Maoist Center has called its Standing Committee (SC) meeting at Paris Danda, Koteshwor, Kathmandu this afternoon.

According to Shree Ram Dhakal,  the Secretary at the Maoist Center’s Central Office, the meeting is scheduled to discuss the party’s election procedures, cabinet expansion and current political issues, among many other issues.

With the delay in cabinet formation, the number of aspirants for the post of  ministers is increasing in the Maoist Center party.

This has put the leadership under further pressure to finalize the name of ministers at the earliest.
