NT’s mobile users face problem of getting unnecessary missed calls



KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NT) users have been facing the problem of getting calls from unknown numbers for the past few days.

The users have been getting missed calls from abroad and not speaking when called back.

The NT has issued a notice requesting its users to remove unnecessary and suspicious apps on mobile phones.

Meanwhile, the NT mobile service has also been found to be auto-dialing from the mobile, and money being deducted.

Telecom has requested the customers not to install or remove unnecessary and suspicious apps on their mobile sets.

The NT has also urged the users to be vigilant to avoid unauthorized and unnecessary calls by using the locking code provided to open the ISD service when needed and shut down the service if not required.
