One dies and 19 get infected with COVID-19 in Banke



NEPALGUNJ: One person has died when 19 people got infected of coronavirus in Banke district on Tuesday.

According to Tej Bahadur Oli, focal person of District Covid Crisis Management Center, Banke, a 57-year-old man of Bheriganga-5, Surkhet died at Bheri Hospital on Tuesday morning. He had undergone PCR test in Surkhet on July 20 and was admitted to Bheri Hospital on July 21.

According to focal person Oli, 19 out of 172 people tested against coronavirus tested positive in Banke on Tuesday.

With Tuesday’s cases added to the tally there are 98 active cases in the district. Three people were discharged after recovery on Tuesday.
