Nepal records 2,328 new COVID-19 cases, 19 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 376 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,328 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,527 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 801 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 246 persons in Kathmandu, 81 in Lalitpur, and 49 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 376 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 19 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3,066 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
