Tipper fall kills husband and wife in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Husband and wife have died after a speeding tipper veered off the road fell on a cowshed where they were sleeping in Kageshwari Manohara municipality in the capital on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 53-year-old Sainla Tamang and his 55-year-old wife Jayanti Tamang.

They were sleeping in the cowshed when the incident took place, said DSP Dundi Neupane of Metropolitan Police Circle.

The tipper was heading to Bouddha carrying mud from Sankhu when the accident took place at 4 am today.
