Two members of a family buried to death in Gorkha



GORKHA: Two members of a family have died after their house was buried by a landslide triggered by incessant rains in Siranchowk rural municipality-7 on early Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as 86-year-old Raman Pandey and 68-year-old Nanda Kumari Pandey, said District Police Office, Gorkha.

The dead bodies have been retrieved from the incident site by a police team deployed by an Area Police Office, Jaubari and locals.

Rural municipality chairman Raju Gurung informed that the dead bodies have been taken out from the rubble at 10 am.
